Antique 19thc pocket Altimeter barometer in leather case. I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS WORKS! Measures 1 7/8 x 3/4. Hole on backside, I can see a screw – Im assuming that was for an adjustment. Has original crystal with no cracks. Top spins and moves without issue. Through window I can see the condition of springs and hands, and I dont see any corrosion. Its missing the hanging bale. I can hear a thunky? Rattle when shook but nothing moves or flies about. I believe the unit inside is loose. I tried the plastic bag test. Hand moved but still not sure if its correct. Today is very humid and overcast but it says its fair. Hinge is in excellent condition. It is missing the tension latch. Top of one side needs a bit of glue.
