It is a wonderful solid oak case measuring 50 x 12 inches, and note it has a slide off hood for easy access to the movement. It has a beveled convex glass in the front door, and silvered 5 inch roman numeral dial with slight tarnishing. It has melodious Westminister chimes on each quarter hour, 1/4, 1/2. 3/4, 4/4, and on the hour after chiming the full Westminister tune, it then strikes the appropriate hours. It is eight day running with pendulum accessible in the rear of the clock. It ticks some and strikes now, but it should be serviced to run consistently, since it has been in a collection almost 45 years.
