Very nice vintage Barograph with clock work mechanism in a Mahogany and Brass case. It carries a maker’s label which reads Ets MAXANT PARIS – EST 93100 MONTREUIL. The Barograph is predominantly made from polished lacquered brass and sits on an enameled metal base plate which carries a serial number of 348178. The metal base plate is set within a Mahogany frame. The Mahogany and glass cover is hinged at the back and has a brass latch mechanism at the front. The clockwork mechanism appears to be fine, but I have no idea how to set it up properly sorry. The case measures; length 8 inches (20.5 cm) width 4.25 inches (11 cm) and height 5 inches (12.5 cm). Makes an excellent display piece for any history buff! See pictures for more condition detail!

This is a very nice vintage maxant paris 93100 montreul barograph. Piece has been wound and ticks along with slow movement. There is no ink, however, for the pen, which appears to need a refill. Case measures 8″l x 5 1/4″h x 4 3/8d. Arrives with original instructions, which are in english, papers and key. Beautiful vintage maritime accessory! We welcome the opportunity to serve you.
