Kittredge optician minneapolis aneroid barometer s m london. He can be found online and was a prominent member of the twin cities. He was active in many social aspects and in the masonic lodge in historic st. He died in 1905 so this is quite old.

It has a brass case, the magnet only sticks a little on the bottom so there may be some metal inside on the bottom or the bottom in not solid brass. It does not stick on the sides or top. Lools like a brass needle and there is another black needle. The small label reads sm london, so i think it was made there in london. I wish i knew more about it, i cannot find another online so maybe it was made for him or he ordered it.

It is large measuring about 6.5 inches across the top and is about 2.25 tall sitting face up. As i have been listing it here tonight it has been changing its reading so it may be working. Quite an amazing rare barometer.
