Short & Mason Ltd London Antique Original Pocket Barometer with Case Pre-1930.

1915 Aurapole compass by Short and Mason Taylor of Rochester, NY, with a patented pending design. This antique scientific instrument is a unique find for collectors of pre-1930s items. Antique Short & Mason Octagonal Tycos Wall Barometer. Barometer weighs 59.5 ounces and is 9 3/16″ in diameter and just under 1 7/8″ thick at the edge. There are scratches around the hanger and on the bottom facet. It has been tracking changes in pressure and now reads 30.26 (against 30.15 on my barometer/altimeter). There is an adjustment screw on the back, which I have not used. Altimeter in last photo for reference, not included.

For sale an Antique Mahogany Tacos Wall Barometer by Smart & Marsh London, made in GT Britain. Registration or model number on back 2555. Hole with adjustment screw. Mahogany casing needs some TLC but still in good viewing form looking at it from the front. I’m not an expert on barometers, so I’m not 100% sure if it works correctly or not. Width of casing just under 2 inches.
