This large antique J. Hukins Alcester wood barometer/thermometer measures 43 long and has a metal hanger at the top for mounting on the wall. When we layed it donw to open the back for photographs a pointer came loose inside the glass so the cover will need to be unscrewed to secure it back. There is also a knob or something gone right above the makers name towards the bottom and we would guess that this piece may date back into the 1800’s.
