This fine old 19th century antique english banjo barometer measures approximately 40″ tall and is about 12″ wide at the widest point. There is a working fluid filled bubble level on the bottom. This example looks really fantastic and it displays like a champ but if you examine it closely there are a few minor flaws. The veneer on the bottom is a bit worn as can be seen in picture 4 and there are a couple of minor nicks or cracks in the veneer. The barometer setting key is missing, a piece of molding is missing on the left hand side of the crown. I don’t know if the barometer or hygrometer are working or accurate, i don’t have an accurate barometer or hygrometer for comparison.
