Hi grade English barometer

A really well made English barometer. Thick 1/8 beveled glass. Large 11 wide solid oak case with carved ropework around the outer edge. Looks like late 1800’s. Has a thin hairline across the face. Need to be very close to see. The light shading in the center is from the light. Painted face is in excellent condition. Some tarnishing to the brass ring that secure the glass. Very similar in style to a gallery clock produced by Ansonia. Please see my other listings for more antique clocks. German heavily carved ornate barometer and thermometer……. Porcelain thermometer and mercury pendulum……

Just dusted off all the carvings. With a little paint brush…….. I will leave the polishing to you……. There are so many knooks and crannys……

Original bevel blass on the barometer…… 26 h x 11 w x 3 deep.
