This is an incredible fine large barometer! Signed on the lower portion, the thermometer works, I dont know for certain on the barometer part, that’s of course as is. There is mercury in the back so that must be a good sign. The only issue is the broken arch a piece of the arch is missing, this could be repaired, 43 inches the wheel is about 11 inches, I believe the name is Mazzo? Not a common one for sure. It measures a large 20 x 12 inches, with a 4 1/2 inch arabic numeral dial. Look closely at the beautifully enameled painted applications on the case, on the inner dial and around the dial, and on the base and crest of the clock. The brass movement has a melodious gong bracket. It is eight day running with pendulum accessible in the rear of the clock. White and brass finial on bottom. Oval is about 3 1/2 inches high without finial. With finial, about 5 1/4 inches high. Oval is about 4 1/4 inches wide. Barometer face diameter is about 3 1/4 inches round. Lying face up it is about 2 inches tall/thick Actual weight of this item is 13-14 ounces. Vintage 1960’s shortland 26 barometer with brass eagle finial & decor. Never has been set was unsure how to set so used as decoration only. Instructions are on the back with a small piece missing. Cosmetically beautiful with a few minor scratches, (please see last three pictures). Window clear and beautiful, brass finial and brass decor could use some cleaning.
