A garage sale find from about 15 years ago. I don’t know anything about it, just thought it was interesting. It appears to be a barometer or barograph.
Comes with extra graph paper. Writings on the papers are in both german and french. If you take the top off of the brass cylinder, there is a winder, and when wound, it makes a “ticking” sound, so it does appear to be functioning.

There are some scratches and imperfections and one of the long rectangular glass pieces is missing. It is quite heavy and weight almost 5 pounds. Please see photos and ask questions.
