1890 French Pocket Open Face Altimeter & Barometer. This is a consignment piece and is untested. It appears to be in working condition. Barometer is approximately 2 1/8″ in diameter, about 2 7/8″ from the bale to the bottom and. When lying flat it measures about 3/4 high. The face of the Barometer says Tempete Pluie ou V. Variable Bau Temps Tres-Sec (see photos). It is in original, average to better than average condition. The beveled crystal looks good. Everything appears as it should. The backside is a lil brassy as you can see from the pictures, as well as the edges and high. This piece along with some other fine instruments from this consigner. Will be availing for viewing during our regular store hours in Costa Mesa, CA.
