This is a wonderful fully restored original american 1903 Gilbert Clock Company, located in Winsted, Conn. Just gaze at the pics of this terrific clock. It measures 16 x 11 inches, with a brass bezel and 4 1/2 inch arabic numeral dial. The large column case has wonderful marbleized finish throughout, including the top. It has an eight day movement with pendulum, and it has a gong strike on the hours and bell on the half hours. It has a nice label on the back of the case. Very old stick barometer. The base is labeled Central Scientific Company Cenco Chicago, IL. Stick Barometer with great patina – Displays well – 20+ inches tall. To the Lower 48 states only. This is a clean early 1860 american signed Terry Clock Company Striking Shelf Clock. It is a nice early Terry clock measuring 17 1/2 x 11 inches. The large brass movement is signed by the Terry Co. After a period of travels working as an optician and even helping to build a sugar mill in South America, he settled in St. Louis, Missouri where he established his optical business. By 1865 Albert and his father, Sadoc, were in business together as opticians in St. Louis under the name S. This arrangement lasted only a couple of years and in 1867 Albert was in business for himself as A. In 1876 he went into a partnership with William H.
