This antique Chelsea Clock, Thermometer and Barometer Desk Set is marked Chelsea Clock Co. This serial number dates this Chelsea Clock Set was made circa-1935-39. Measuring 9 1/4″ long by 1 1/2″ wide the base and 4 tall. The base and cases are made from solid bronze and retain the original patina, including the gold gilded posts and top of the base. Each of the dials measure 3 1/4 in diameter with their original glass however as you can see the barometer glass is broken. Even though the glass is broken it is still working. The clock is missing its original winding nut, however we did manually wind this clock. The springs is strong and not wound tight, but it only runs for a few minutes and stopped. We guarantee that this clock just needs a cleaning and maybe an adjustment or two and it will keep good time once again. The barometer and thermometer are working.
