Diameter 11.5 cm/4.5in. Weight (kg): 2.7. The barometer is working, the thermometer is working, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy. Most likely, the weather station was made in 1880 -1910. Similar models can be seen in tariff catalogs for 1880 -1910s. Small traces of use. Single traces of woodworm. The weather station is delivered partially disassembled. We know this type of barometer case was also caved in the 19th century, but we think this one is more likely a 1930-50s case and while it’s got all the charm of the old ones, it’s a bit more affordable. The 12 height is a great accent size for desktop or mantel and a fabulous addition to any Holiday decoration you might have planned. Cabin, ski lodge, mountain home or even Country French decor works with these little carvings. We have them in both homes, one high French and the other a Country cottage of limestone, history. You’ll find the perfect spot. The aneroid barometer is working well. Very good to excellent condition throughout. Aneroid barometer works beautifully and is in French so pulls to Country French decor for you just fine. Charming anatomical study of that bear, with his painted mouth and his glass eyes. We don’t think he’s antique but more vintage and that’s fine. I’m probably not as old as this guy. But we’re both working toward being antiques.
