Antique Cyclo Stormograph Recording Barograph manufactured by Casella London. Classic mahogany and glass scientific weather instrument used for recording atmospheric pressure changes. Acquired from the Los Alamos National Laboratory in the early 1960s and was in use in the 1950s and before. Exact age unknown, but likely early 20th century. Casella are a renowned instrument maker whose origins can be traced back to as early as 1799. This is a great piece for collectors of antique scientific instruments, meteorological equipment, or laboratory memorabilia. Includes: Brush Electronics recording ink dated 09/07/1958, 3 bottles of FRIEZ instrument special No. 10 purple ink(one unopened), multiple sheets of unused vintage graph paper, lift-off all glass lid, a two-compartment chart drawer at the base. In excellent, used condition – some scuffing to the mahogany staining. See photos for full condition details. Dimensions: Base – 14.5in L x 9in W x 8.5in H(with glass cover). Glass Cover – 12in L x 6.5in W x 6.5in H.

Antique wheel barometer marked “Casella 23 Hatton Garden London” circa 1860. Rare small 4-1/4 dial model also features a hygrometer, thermometer, and level. Barometer has been serviced with a new mercury tube, silvered plates, and polishing. Excellent working and overall condition. Measures 37″ high by 6-1/2″ wide.
