The Mechanism: Gebrüder Lufft (Stuttgart). The heart of this barometer is a high-precision aneroid movement bearing the iconic Lufft hallmark (the compass and “G” logo). Lufft was the “Gold Standard” of German instrumentation, famous for providing movements to the most elite scientific firms in Europe.
