Stunning Antique Benetfink & Co Thermometer and Barometer circa 1880. 26 3/4″ x 7 3/4″. Barometer has a porcelain dial, brass bezel and beveled glass. The glass is in excellent condition with no scratches, chips, or cracks. It appears that you can access the barometer by way of a small screw on the back of the wooden case to adjust it. I have not attempted to unscrew it. The barometer needs to be adjusted. The name “Benetfink & Co Cheapside London” is printed on the dial and shows wear-see pic. The thermometer shows degrees in Fahrenheit and Centigrade. It has a protective glass cover in front of of the thermometer which is attached to a milk glass plate. It keeps temperature perfectly!! The rich wood has a floral design on top and bottom and is in excellent condition! This is an outstanding antique!
