Antique German barometer-thermometer in a beautifully hand carved case. The thermometer doesn’t work, I don’t know about the barometer, handwritten numbers. Length 53 cm – 20,86″, bottom 24.5 cm – 9,64″, top 20 cm – 7,87, barometer glass diameter 8.5 cm. It is a wonderful mahogany case with pin stripe inlaid throughout the front of the clock, and has a large floral display inlaid just below the dial. It measures 16 x 11inches, with beveled convex glass in the front door, and silvered 5 inch arabic numeral dial with slight tarnishing. It has melodious Westminister chimes on each quarter hour, 1/4, 1/2. 3/4, 4/4, and on the hour after chiming the full Westminister tune, it then strikes the appropriate hours. Very nice original weather station. Very old maybe late 1800’s. 21 inch long and about 10 inch wide at widest. Carved wood has some cracks and breaks. Antique Admiral Fitzroy’s Barometer. Has slight stress fractures on the sides of the top. I put in the pics. Tiny paint droplets on bottom left, because wall was painted around.
