Here is a nice antique brass cased barometer from e. Bausch & sons rochester, ny. This one measures 6.5 dia. The piece is in working order. It has however been dropped at some time.
The bottom edge of the brass is bent as can be seen in the photos. This did not damage the beveled glass.
