Old brass pocket combination altimeter/barometer/thermometer in its original fitted faux leather case. The maker is unknown, but it dates to the late 1800s. It is in working order with some wear. The altimeter indicator is bent and short. Please see my other items for sale: gbit. Possibly 1920’s or 30’s. Comes with leather Case. Good working order – accurate readings. No Makers mark or date code. I have not opened to check inside. Dial is good, some scratches on case. Old triple dial aneroid barometer marked Watkin Patent Compensated No. Hicks 8, 9, & 10 Hatton Garden London. It measures 3 1/8 inches in diameter. Henry Watkin was granted U. Patent #364692 in 1887, see: google. Com/patents/US364692. His English patent 3425 was granted March 11, 1886. It is has some aging to the case, display, but only a little on the copper/brass metal body. I do not know when it was last tested for accuracy or if it works. I had bought this off a friend awhile back and have decided to part with it. Please contact me with any questions or requests for additional pictures. Antique victorian travelling compensated barometer/altimeter by john browning. Victorian travelling compensated barometer/altimeter by john browning, london no. 1157, with circular white dial, in brass case. Includes original leather outer case (some wear to button that releases lid, leather cracked underside). Untested and unsure of it’s accuracy. 58 mm (2.28 inches) in diameter. Additional charge providing the parcel is not too heavy or large. Negative feedback so we can resolve the problem. Please check with your country’s customs office to.
