A sharp looking vintage weather forecaster in excellent condition though not perfect; there’s two small flakes at the top and bottom of the rear right side edge (see 5th photo). And it works properly. Predicts weather changes hours in advance. Also shows indoor temperature and humidity. Neat two-toned dials are easily read. The whole display is on a thick wood backing for hanging on the wall. The Airguide Barometer is displayed in the center and has a touch of sea air. Then a thick rope around that. The bottle is antique or vintage and marked on the bottom WM Teachers & Sons Glasgow Scotland. Bottle with number “3472″ and “18″. Great for any bottle collector! The mast is tied together by what appears to be copper string. The bottle is connected to wood by double sided sticky tape from what I can tell. Measures just under 15 1/2″ tall and 11 1/4″ wide at bottom. See pics for condition. Condition- Please review all photos for condition and information on condition. This is Original & Rare Antique Airguide Silver Dial Stencil Gilt Pearl Inlaid Mahogany Barometer Thermometer Weather Station This Piece Measures Over 3 Feet Tall with Beautiful Rounded Silvered Jeweled Compensated Dial with Nicely Etched Trim Work. It has a Beautiful Convex Mirror at the Center with Nice Gilded Stencil Trim Work that goes throughout the Edges with Beautiful Oyster & Pearl Inlay as shown in the photos. It has a nice Brass Finial at the Top and 3 Separated Instruments All in Glass Encasings. It comes with its Original Paperwork Including Reading Charts. The Back has its Original Label & Made of “Genuine Mahogany” from The Mahogany Association of America Made in USA which no longer exists, This Barometer was Airguide Top of the Line with the Inlays & Stencil Trim Not Found in any of the catalogue that it came with.
