There is a tiny screw in the back that adjusts the front and the front can be turned (it’s on a revolving wheel). Goes from sea level to 15,000 feet. I don’t believe it’s working. Makes a nice showpiece nonetheless (for a desk especially).

A fine late 19th century Imperial Russian Barometer. Handmade wooden barometer 1880s. The barometer was made by F. Physico-Mechanic and Optician of His Imperial Majesty’s Court. This is evidenced by the inscription on the barometer! The barometer has an oak body, a brass ring and a glass window. The barometer is working. The diameter of the Barometer frame is 14 cm. All letters are written in the Old Russian language – Cyrillic. 1880’s Large charming French barometer thermometer, antique weather station with carved wooden columns. Amazing piece of history! It is very decorative. Dimensions (inch): 33.4×13. Here is a wonderful Seth Thomas #2 Regulator Wall Clock, made in Thomaston, Conn. It has a very nice oak case measuring about 30 x 13 inches. The clock is the model that was in about every american railroad station in the US. It has a great original label inside the case on the base. It is circa 1880’s, and probably one of the most desired clocks in america. You can see its brass weight in the front of the pendulum. It has a small aperture on the side of the case to see the movement as it is working. This #2 Seth Thomas clock is one to have in your collection. Beautiful 19th Century barometer made by Pertuis Hulot Naudet (PHNB) in Paris. Pressure is reported in inches of mercury and the thermometer is Fahrenheit scale. Lovely patina on brass case. I have compared it many times to local barometric readings and it is accurate. It is rather rare to see these barometers without advertising on the dial. The dial shows some aging and the glass is not cracked although there looks to be some debris stuck to the inside of the glass. Brass has wonderful patina from aging.
