Antique Aneroid Skeleton Dial French Barometer made for the U S market – With U S. Standards with great thermometer. On the back that is a D C with an anchor between. The mark stands for Dubois & Casse of. They made barometers for the English and US market. The face is silver plate and it has its day to day needle. The Barometer is in perfect working order and has been pressure tested. It measures 5.25 inches across and is 2.25 inches high. The back of the barometer measures 4.5 inches in diameter. The glass is beveled and the whole barometer is in very good condition. There is a very small dent on the back near the set screw that does not show when hung on the wall. The curved thermometer reads in Fahrenheit from 20 degrees to 120 degrees. Very special Barometer that can be hung on a wall or with the included stand it can sit on your desk or shelf. A wonderful Paul Naudet Barometer, with large curved 4.5 inch thermometer and a beautiful brass case. This was made c 1870 – 1890 in France. The barometer diameter is 6.5 inches and it is 2.5 inches deep. Has the original day to day indicator. Has been pressure tested and it works very well. Dial plate is in pristine condition. It has the original ring for hanging on the wall. Beautiful, working, and hard to find this large Holosteric quality barometer. The Paul Naudet mark is impressed clearly on the back and on the dial is “made in France” between the 29 and 30 numbers with the Paul Naudet Logo. A very special piece for the collector.
