Everything works, there are cracks on the glass of the barometer, it does not affect the work. Also the thermometer does not hold well, there is a chip at the bottom. Good afternoon dear customer. To Your attention is invited a.. Antique barometer Germany “Lufft”. The Swabian metal barometer factory Lufft, founded in 1881, produced valuable measuring instruments and weather stations for domestic and commercial use until 2012. Barometer-thermometer 1900s in good working condition 33×14×3cm. The barometer was faulty and the paint peeled off. Now restored and renovated. A new layer of stain and varnish has been applied. Everything works, there are cracks at the bottom of the frame. Ready to answer all your possible questions.

A top quality wall barometer by the London maker John Wardale. The octagonal mahogany case is in lovely condition. It measures approximately 10 across the diagonal. The silvered dial measures approximately 6 across. The movement has been calibrated but fine calibration might be required for the most accurate readings. The exact age is uncertain, but an educated guess would be 1910 – 1920 based on the back being stamped English Made rather than Made in England. English barometers of this period were the best available.
