Antique France Barometer Weather Station Barometer Thermometer Signed. Antique French wheel barometer signed in French, circa 1900. Solid hardwood case decorated with stunning brass designed hardware pieces. Features a spirit thermometer. “Charlet Ainé Toricelli Mechanism”. Scales are printed in French with outer scale metric and inner scale’Paris Inch’ – an official scale in use since Charlemagne (used for 1000 years), favored by Continental scientists until the (French) metric system became more widespread. Reaumur / metric units on thermometer scale. Measures 36″H 11″X1.5. Cosmetic Condition is quiet good for this age, missing small piece of wood frame, some paint stains, and polish faded in some areas. Please note it doesn’t seem working, I don’t know a lot of this barometers, just described as found online, please view all the photos carefully. Antique Short & Mason England Octagonal Tycos Wall Barometer Wood Case

Antique Short & Mason Octagonal Tycos Wall Barometer. Barometer weighs 59.5 ounces and is 9 3/16″ in diameter and just under 1 7/8″ thick at the edge. There are scratches around the hanger and on the bottom facet. It has been tracking changes in pressure and now reads 30.26 (against 30.15 on my barometer/altimeter). There is an adjustment screw on the back, which I have not used. Altimeter in last photo for reference, not included.
Early 1900s Pocket Barometer w Original Case Marked Compensated Made in England

The leather case has a 3 ½” diameter with a 1 ¼” thickness. The Brass Barometer has a diameter of 2 ¾” with a 7/8″ thick body. It has a guilt surface that shows wear with tarnish in spots. The face is marked “Compensated’ “Made in England. It has areas of tarnish and mild stains. The needle moves very slowly and does not match a modern piece. Please look at the photographs as they are considered part of the description. I guarantee it to be old and as described. We reserve the right to change shippers to the most practical for your location.

Antique wheel barometer marked “Casella 23 Hatton Garden London” circa 1860. Rare small 4-1/4 dial model also features a hygrometer, thermometer, and level. Barometer has been serviced with a new mercury tube, silvered plates, and polishing. Excellent working and overall condition. Measures 37″ high by 6-1/2″ wide.
