You are currently looking at an antique large French wall thermometer/barometer in the violin shape. It belonged to an elderly French couple who passed away. The piece is rather bulky measuring 39″ x 13″. Thank you for looking!

1820 Charles Aiano, Canterbury Stick Barometer 35″ x 4 1/2″. Used condition with usual and expected wear. Please enlarge the pictures from your desktop computer to see better every little detail. Ntique Belgian Art Nouveau Wooden Barometer, beginning of 20th century, designed in a unique wooden model integrated with gilded brass pieces (style reminiscent of the design schools of Macintosh, England, and Joseph Hoffman, Vienna Austria). Bears on its reverse a theme sticker of the optometry store Maisn Roland in Antwerp, Belgium. Length: 52.5 cm, max width: 23 cm. Antique Short & Mason Octagonal Tycos Wall Barometer. Barometer weighs 59.5 ounces and is 9 3/16″ in diameter and just under 1 7/8″ thick at the edge. There are scratches around the hanger and on the bottom facet. It has been tracking changes in pressure and now reads 30.26 (against 30.15 on my barometer/altimeter). There is an adjustment screw on the back, which I have not used. Altimeter in last photo for reference, not included.
