A big charming barometer, antique weather station, barometer, thermometer with hand-carved wooden swans. Amazing piece of history! It is very decorative and beautifully carved swans. Dimensions (inch): 27.5×13. Diameter 12 cm/4.7 in. The barometer is working, the thermometer is working, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy. Most likely, the weather station was made in 1905 -1910. Similar models can be seen in tariff catalogs for 1905 -1910s. Important: the age of the product is approximate. Antique items are not new items! Things that are old can be imperfect, don’t expect them to look new. Color may vary slightly depending on screen settings and minor surface scratches. A small charming barometer, antique weather station, barometer, thermometer in hand-carved wood. Amazing piece of history! It is very decorative. The barometer is working, the thermometer is working, but I cannot guarantee the accuracy. Mercury temperature scale Reaumur and Celsius. On the back of the case s/n 23/2. Caveats: a case with wormholes. In France, the Reaumur thermometer was widely used before the adoption of the Celsius scale. The transition was long: the Celsius scale was adopted by the Convention in 1794, but the newspapers after fifty years still gave the temperature either on the scale or on both. The facility was probably designed towards the end of the 18th century (circa 17721773). Important: the age of the product is approximate. Antique items are not new items! A superb English made late Victorian piece of surveying equipment. Made in England by the famous Keuffel & Esser Co. A laquered brass case with signs of use. Antique Maritime Barometer Guilt Mermaid Kerr Ship Line

This is a wonderful antique barometer showing a guilt metal mermaid holding the barometer in her arms. It has a porcelain dial with a black wood base with a blue and white enamel flag of the Kerr steamship line. It does work but may need a cleaning of the mechanism. It is in very nice condition showing very little wear. All the gold guilt is intact. 7.25 inches high x 3.75 diameter base.
