Small desktop aneroid barometer with open dial. This barometer in silver brass or nickel-plated (i don’t know for sure) has a brass bezel and a dial with an open center section, which reveals the exquisite barometer mechanism and aneroid capsule. The barometer is equipped with a brass loop for hanging at the top and has a slightly less characteristic pair of brass legs at the back, which allows it to be used also as a table barometer. Inscriptions in French on the dial. It was made in France. The body has some wear and tear. Condition: working vintage condition. Dimension: diameter 8.5 cm (3.3 inch). H 11 cm/4 in. D 4.5 cm/1.8 in.
