This is an Antique Barometer in a Brass Case and Beveled Glass Front. It was made by Negretti & Zambra of London. I thought it was unusual that on the face it says Negretti & Zambra Instrument Makers To Her Majesty. It also says Holborn Viaduct Cornhill Regent Street and the number 8688. It measures 4 3/4 inches in diameter and 2 1/8 inches deep. I believe this is a Working Barometer because I set the Movable Hand and the Measuring Hand has moved since I did that. Overall this Barometer is in Very Good Condition. The Brass could be polished if you wanted to. The glass is in very good condition no chips, cracks or scratches but there is a dirty spot on the inside of the glass towards the right side of center. Please see my pictures.
