Volunteers, which fighted in the army of Paus Pius IX against. Garibaldi during the Italian War. After his comeback in 1870 Willem became Watchmaker & opticien. He married in 1871 with. (1849 – 1914), daughter of a Haagse beardshaver. They lived for several years in Gouda and later moved to The hague in 1875. Willem was a member of the Haagsche Kamer van Koophandel en Factories. He had 9 children, just one of his children became older, alle the other died early. Willem Lodewijk Christiaan Weimar. Antonius Leonardus Augustinus Weimar (Gouda, 1872 – 1873). Antonius August Willem Weimar (Gouda, 1873 – Den Haag, 1932), horlogemaker, was niet getrouwd. Maar had een erkende dochter (Maria Antonia Weimar 1925) uit een relatie met Maria Clasina Elisabeth Perquin. Cornelia Johanna Barendina Weimar (Gouda, 1875 – Den Haag, 1878). Willem August Weimar (Den Haag, 1876 – 1877). Herman Willem Weimar (Den Haag, 1878) werd slechts 4 maanden oud. Willem August Herman Weimar (Den Haag, 1879 – 1885). August Weimar (Den Haag, 1880 – 1889). Cornelia Augusta Maria Weimar (Den Haag, 1882 – 1883). Leonardus Herman August Weimar (Den Haag, 1884 – 1885). Van Willem was started in Westeinde op resp. 11, 9 en 7. Later in Riviervischmarkt 3c in Den Haag. After Willem died in 1915 the shop continued till 1960.
