Offered is a WWI U. Navy marked Surveying Aneroid Barometer Altimeter , with leather case. The Navy markings are typical of those found on WWI era binoculars and instruments. The barometer is of English make, and was marketed by Williams Brown & Earle Inc, Philadelphia. Overall condition is excellent, and it functions very well. Seems to be accurate. The Bezel is approximately 4 7/8 in diameter, and the instrument is 2 deep, including the crystal. Includes original leather case, which is missing the strap that would snap on to hold the case together. Some of the stitching has come loose also. The item “U. S.
