This is a ships barometer made by Emory & Douglas that is in very good condition with no cracks or repairs. The only problem is that the hand does not stay on the stem. Bought from an estate sale and not sure what is wrong. It is 8″ in diameter and stands 4″ high with knob. Opened, the actual face is 6 and the weight is right at 5 pounds.
