Offered today is a vintage 1930s – 1940s taylor barometer. This handsome piece with beautiful markings is from the art deco period and is in very nice condition. The front is brownish with orange swirl markings. The back is greenish with yellow swirl markings. The base is a solid butterscotch. My photos don’t do it justice. There are no chips, hairlines, or cracks in the catalin case. The dial is clear. The adjustable hand turns properly. The lens is clear. I have collected these taylor art deco pieces for their antiquity and catalin plastic beauty. I do not know of their functionality or working condition, and i make no claims to that effect.
