I bought this antique barometer/thermometer in england, 38 years ago. It still looks beautiful. The thermometer reads accurate and i believe that the barometer is working, but i’m not sure how to read or set the dial. There is a small hole in the back of the dial, where you can adjust/set the meter. The condition of this piece is really good, considering its age. The tiger oak could probably use a little furniture polish or wax, but i don’t see any scratches or blemishes. The beveled glass that covers the perfect dial has some very very minor surface scratches. There is a nice ring at the top, so this piece is ready to hang. The metal band that surrounds the dial, could use a little tlc, in the form of a few drops of metal polish. The approximate dimensions of this piece are 15 1/4″ by 6″ by 2 deep.
