It measures almost exactly two inches across housing. Glass cover is beveled on edges, it is plated. Plating looks like gold over brass, but i’m not sure so don’t hold me to this.
Barometer shows some light wear from normal use, some brass is showing on top ring and it’s mounting post. Outer altitude dial has some darkening around edge – it looks like oil staining from someone over-oiling it sometime in the past.
I cannot remove the back, i assume it unscrews but if so it’s stuck shut oil again? Case is hinged with push button latch, leather exterior, and velvet lined interior. Case shows some wear from use and latch button has been ‘repaired’ with tape sometime in the past. Everything is packed very securely in clean new boxes with new packing material.
