Circa 1860s american stick barometer made by charles wilder, peterboro, new hampshire. The barometer also contains a thermometer, that is in working condition. The silvered barometer scale features the notation: woodruff’s pat. The case is veneered in what, i believe, is mahogany and will require some veneer repair as well as some wood molding restoration to make this a really appealing instrument. The barometer measures 37″ tall by 4 1/2″ wide.
A barometer worthy of the restoration efforts.
