– philadelphia lacquered brass pocket engineering barometer / altimeter. It has a 2 3/4 round brass casing with a knurled rotating dial bezel. The crystal is thick beveled glass. The dial and inner bezel are silvered.
The stem is straight and clean. It looks like the instrument just needs a replacement pointer needle (see close-up photos). The dial bezel still turns fine. It’s not siezed up or loose. The silver on the dial has darkened a bit from age, but the numerals are still plainly visible.
I do not tamper with items or alter them in any way. I want you to view them as close as possible as i obtained them. All items are being offered as final sales from estate liquidation with all wear of a used vintage item. I will only call an item mint if i truly believe that it’s in mint condition. Please ask all questions before the item has ended. The items that i list are not being offered for sale locally at the same time. If something happens to go very cheap, you get it cheap. If it is a minor typo, i will add the correct info directly under this initial description.
