John baker and kensington brass barometer. As with most items i sell, this is part of a liquidation from an local estate. Approximately 3″ deep, 8.5″ diameter. Mounted on a 1″ thick, 11″ diameter wood backing, stamped #3118. Brass body, beveled glass lens.
Several smaller spots of a green c. The beveled glass lens is cracked/broken in half. The set needle is very tight, very hard to move/adjust. Care should be taken when trying to move/turn it, this may have been the cause of broken glass lens.
Calibration and or adjustments may be needed. It is possible that i might be using incorrect terminology and or overlook something regarding condition. Please see the provided photos and ask questions if you have any doubts. No other method may be used.
