Victorian banjo styled aneroid barometer thermometer porcelain face carved wood. For your consideration is this very nicely preserved banjo styled aneroid barometer/thermometer. This one has the old styled porcelain face for both the barometer and the thermometer. Centegrade and fefarhenheit measures on the thermometer. Spells out conditiokns the barometric measures indicate such as stormy, rain, change, fair or very dry.
Not certain of the wood although it could be maple. Barometer dial is 9 inches across with the actual glass encasement 8 inches. Thermometeris 10.5 inches long and about 2 inches wide.
