50+ items each week all items start at $0.99. Museum quality weather station barometer. Is an outstanding & very large (approx 4 ft tall) late 19th century weather station barometer featuring the most impressive wooden case that we have ever seen on a barometer. This beauty was titled admiral fitzroys polytechnic weather station barometer and was manufactured by joseph davis & co. Out of london, circa 1885. This unique and impressive scientific weather instrument couldn’t possibly be any more dressed up in an outstanding walnut case featuring a gallery at the top, impressive woodgrain and wood carved decorations on the sides and bottom. The original fretwork is even present covering the instruments at center and displays very well with very little wear. This impressive work of art would be a welcome addition to any collection and is in outstanding estate fresh condition. The engineering is flawless and the victorian style walnut case is beyond impressive. This is a wonderful 120+ year old work of art that deserves to be on display in a gallery or museum. The only admiral fitzroy barometer that i have found in a similar case is located in a london museum. This barometer is fresh from a virginia estate and is guaranteed to impress the pickiest of clients.
