We are pleased to offer this exceptionally well preserved. Lloyd’s hygrodeik by tycos, rochester. Made in the early 20th century, for andrew j. A hygrodeik measures relative humidity, with wet and dry thermometers, and an index arm indicating relative humidity on the scale. Condition: this piece is in excellent, all original, with no damage (other than the finish wear and patina) and a small ding on the rear of the base. A partial piece of the wet side wick is still attached to the bulb. The water container is perfect, and appears to have a ground edge on the top.
The instructions on the back are extremely clear and easy to read. The front scale is dirty, but could be cleaned for a much better display if desired. I don’t clean antiques, i only lightly dust them to prevent damage. Dimensions: this is set in a metal frame, with wet/dry thermometers, index arm and engraved metal chart, and instructions on the back side.
10.25 inches in height and 9 inches wide. And thank you for supporting small business this holiday season. We do reuse and recycle packing material. If you require new packing material, just send us a message upon checkout.
